Today’s Students Can Major in Wines

An article in the Ag & Life Sciences alumni newsletter caught my eye a few months ago. It was about the new undergraduate curriculum in oenology and viticulture. You got it — winemaking. Read the article here.
The concentration, available to students majoring in soil and crop science or food science, is a response to the urgent staffing needs of New York State’s rapidly growing wine industry. This is tempting me to re-apply as a freshman this fall!
