Classmates’ Websites

In keeping with this website’s new blog-like style, we try to point out what’s new and interesting in the world of Cornelliana. Recently, I came across CUInfo’s list of alumni personal web pages. If you have a webpage, you can register it with CUInfo here.
Searching for ‘96ers led to a lot of dead links. (Really—about 90% of them.) Among these were glimpses into the amazing and varied activities of our classmates. Over the next few weeks, in two or three installments, I’ll present a few of the most interesting. Stay tuned and feel free to submit your own or a classmate’s site. Here are two to get us started:
Rob Reid is a musician in Chicago. At his site, you can download mp3s and check out scheduled gigs. According to his bio, “his music emphasizes jazz chords, country, spoken word, and Brazilian rhythms.” Most surprising fact:
Lacking basic driving skills and completely devoid of road sense, Rob’s touring was once limited to public transit accessible venues in Chicago.
CK Hoffman is a wedding planner in Bryn Athyn, PA. Her unique approach?
A wedding planner “should charge a flat fee and not a percentage of your budget. Otherwise, where is her incentive to find you the best deal?”
Good point. Her site, ckhoffman.com is an obvious destination if you are even considering getting married in the Philadelphia area.
